Interactive Graphics with Dials

Dials and knobs are a great way to encourage learners to lean in and touch the screen. They’re great for letting learners explore cause and effect relationships, data, concepts and navigate a series of topics.

In this week’s e-learning challenge #261, course designers were asked to use Storyline 360’s dials to create infographics in e-learning. This was perfect timing! I’m working on a project that uses dials in place of tabs interactions. Using a stock illustration from iStock, I extracted the vector elements and used them in a custom dials interaction. Below you’ll find the example I created that was later featured in Articulate’s E-Learning Heroes community.
